Did you know? You can check out a satellite from your backyard without a telescope!
World Space Week is being celebrated from 4th October to 10th October over 95 countries annually across the globe. This week is legitimately defined as “an international celebration of science and technology, and their contribution to the betterment of the human condition”. The Board of Directors of the World Space Week Association decides a theme every year for this week. Under the 2019 theme “The Moon: Gateway to the Stars”, many events focused on the 50th anniversary of the Apollo 11 landing. For this year the theme is “Satellites Improve Life”, wherein it encourages people and young students to learn about the satellites and the numerous ways satellites improve human life.
